Piyo – Day 1 – Align: The Fundamentals

So this the instructional first video…

Kind of a waste of time if you’ve done yoga before.  All of the moves (except the last 5-ish minutes) are standard yoga moves: downward dog, plank, triangle, worrior one two and three, and you get the point.  The last 5-ish minutes was the only new parts at least for me.

This video is meant more to watch and see how she wants you to do the exercises than an actual workout video.  I kind of wish she would have had this as an side video for newcomers instead of scheduling it for the first day.  I got all excited about starting this program and this was kind of a let down.

Off to run on my elliptical because this wasn’t enough.
